Ice skating excitement is not limited to Winter at Ice Castle Arena. Our 2 premium NHL regulation size (200′ x 85′) rinks provide plenty of room to skate solo or with a group. The rinks are open year-round and are the perfect place for Parties. Plus, knowing that a good skate tends to get the stomach growling, we’ve got a great Snack Bar to satisfy your cravings. Come for a skate and don’t miss the cosmic and laser lighting!

Skating Lessons - WE DO NOT HAVE A SESSION SCHEDULED AT THIS TIME.

A NEW BASIC SKILLS SESSION FOR BASIC 1 (new skaters) AND BASIC 2 (returning skaters) IS NOW ADDED!!  (AGES 6-12)

Sundays (6 week session).  There will be two classes: 

DATES: May 18, 25; June 1, 8, 22, 29, 2025  
Note:  There will be NO class on June 15th.

BASIC 1:   2:40 to 3:10 PM (For New/Beginner Skaters)
BASIC 2:   2:05 to 2:35 PM (For Returning Skaters)
(Please specify which group when registering.)

 $120.00 (includes skate rental and USFS Membership).


Class Goals:

  • Introduction to Backward Skating
Each student is invited to attend the public skating session before class, at no added charge. This extra ice time will aid in the development of skating skills! You must check in at the Admissions Desk before entering public session and before each class! (Public Session Time: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.)  (Note: The smallest skate size available for rental is a children's size 9.)

Each class is limited to 12 students. Acceptance to class is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Please register by Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
  • Payment is due in full at sign-up.
  • Registration/Payment can be made with cash, check, or credit card in person or over the phone with a credit card (412-561-9090). We do not offer online registration.

  • RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY - By registering myself or any legal minor for this program, I hereby fully release ICE CASTLE, INC., its agents, servants, employees, and all other person associated or affiliated with ICE CASTLE, INC., including but not limited to Instructors for any and all claims, including claims of negligence of ICE CASTLE, INC. and its agents, servants and employees, losses, injuries, damages, causes of action, that I may have or will have in the future arising out of any injury or damage caused to me while participating in the sport/activity of ice hockey/ice skating, including but not limited to actual games. I hereby acknowledge and understand that ice hockey/ice skating is a dangerous sport/activity, which carries a high and inherent risk of injury, and I hereby freely choose to participate in this sport/activity and accept all risk of injury, including death. I further acknowledge that ICE CASTLE, INC. recommends that all players/participants wear protective equipment, including but not limited to helmets and gloves. I hereby acknowledge that I provide my own equipment and that I do not rely on ICE CASTLE, INC. to provide any equipment for my participation in ice hockey/ice skating. Any injury sustained by me due to any cause whatsoever shall not be the responsibility of ICE CASTLE, INC. I hereby agree that the consideration for this acknowledgement and agreement is my permission to access the facilities at ICE CASTLE, INC. This agreement shall be binding on my heirs, successors, and assigns.

Group Rates Available (minimum of 20 skaters required): $1.00 discount on all admissions and skate rentals. Advance payment of 48 hours is required.
